Rylah Wing Chair

2,950.00

A striking wingback armchair handcrafted and skilfully upholstered in England.

Available in custom combinations of fabric and upholstery placements, this first version featured in a Farrow & Ball ad campaign.

Please contact us by email to discuss which brocade panel option you wish to choose. general@arumfellow.com

The Ikat is created using traditional methods. The yarns are bound by hand to create the pattern. It is then dyed in Indigo and when the binds are untied the pattern appears. This process makes the characteristic feathered edge of an ikat design where the dye has seeped in at the edge of the binds. The yarn is then set onto a pedal loom and hand woven. The brocade panel is hand woven and embroidered by Maya weavers on a backstrap loom.

This chair can be commissioned in any combination of our tapestries and combined with plain fabrics to create a truly bespoke piece. Please contact us directly to discuss options and for quotes. In addition we have a larger catalogue of furniture shapes available.

Dimensions: 68w x 78d x 103h x sh42
