A Brocade textile artwork for your home.

This extraordinary cushion is made on a backstrap loom in Guatemala by Maya artisans who embroider the intricate pattern as they simultaneously weave the base cloth. Every element of the complex design is meticulously hand stitched and woven, a highly skilled process that takes weeks to craft a single cushion. 

We work with Maya weaving cooperatives in Guatemala to create these works of art on cloth. Our responsible approach supports the female weavers and promotes their incredible textile art. 

The cushion is made in England with plain Guatemalan pedal loom cotton backing and duck feather pad. 

Due to the hand crafted characteristics there may be minor variations in size and colour shading, all of which tell a part of this distinctive cushion's journey.
