EVENT | A RUM FELLOW AT DESIGN SOCIAL, HIGH POINT, USA

A week of rugs, conversation and craftsmanship at ‘High Point’.

This spring, A RUM FELLOW headed to High Point Market as part of the Design Social Pop-Up, bringing a selection of our hand crafted, artisan made rugs to North Carolina for a week of conversations, new connections and inspiring interiors.

“It was a fantastic touchpoint for our burgeoning USA audience,” says Dylan O'Shea, our A RUM FELLOW. “There was such a brilliant mix of designers, brands and creatives passing through the space, it felt genuinely welcoming and engaging from start to finish.”

There were some lovely moments along the way, including the honour of being "Style Spotted" by one of 5 design experts as they canvased 11.5 million square feet of showroom space to find the newest products and moment-defining trends, selecting 5 each. A huge thank you to Isobel Ladd Interiors for selecting us as one of your top 5 finds! ⁠

We met an amazing host of designers and trade professionals who we can't wait to start working with. Dylan spoke on a thought provoking roundtable discussion with rug industry piers along with Label Step and Cover Magazine.

And met everyones favourite interior media expert Dennis Scully from the Business of Home podcast.

Mostly though, it was about the conversations, sharing stories behind the rugs, talking craftsmanship, materials and techniques, and meeting people who care about those details as much as we do.⁠

A huge thank you to Brooks Morrison and the wider Design Social team for creating such a thoughtful, relaxed and genuinely welcoming atmosphere throughout the week - very much our kind of people.⁠
