LITHIC wins BEST RUG COLLECTION
A RUM FELLOW is delighted to announce that Our Lithic Rug collection has won BEST RUG COLLECTION in the Homes & Gardens Design Awards 2025.
The Design Awards celebrate the very best in design and decoration so we are over the moon to have won the award.
A hugely personal collection, Lithics reflects Caroline’s childhood spent living on the Cornish coast. Drawing inspiration from Britain’s wild geological landscapes, from the untamed beauty of rock formations to sea battered coastlines. These influences are captured in tone, texture and mood.
The five rug designs explore a sense of grounding and connection, evoking the contented isolation one feels when surrounded by elementally sculptured terrains.

The Lithic Collection is ethically handcrafted by skilled artisans in India and Nepal. Each rug is available in two techniques and bespoke sizing: a hand-knotted pile crafted in Nepal using handspun Tibetan wool, textural cactus fibre and silk creating soft luxurious textural detailing; and a woven flatweave made with the finest New Zealand wool, handcrafted in India.
A RUM FELLOW creates socially-conscious collections rooted in ethical production and fair trade, working with family-run workshops, all-female weaving cooperatives, and artisan partners worldwide. All rugs are certified by Label STEP and GoodWeave, reflecting the studio’s commitment to craft preservation and social responsibility.
The Lithics collection, along with our full range of rugs, fabrics, wall hangings, and brocade panels, is now available to view in the showroom.
