highlighting a few of the lovely pieces of press coverage we’ve received since launching our first entirely hand knotted rug collection

Firstly we were delighted to be featured in the FT’s How to Spend It Autumn design special, in Elizabeth Metcalfe’s “Retying the Knot” feature on rug makers. The piece highlights our Elsewhere Collection and the artisan communities and values behind it, as well as our Certified B Corp status, our work with Label Step and the fully accessible rug weaving facility we partner with in Nepal.

We’re also delighted to have A RUM FELLOW included in AD Italia’s Autumn rug edit, showing again the Elsewhere Collection within a gallery of sixteen rug ideas for making the home cosier and more inviting this season. The online article featured three pieces from the Collection: the Cascade Rug in Ember, the Marea Rug in Crest and the Aether Rug in Nocturne. Thank you to AD Italia for including us.

Finally, after only a week into launch, we were also included in this thoughtful article online by Martyn White. The feature goes deeper into our brand story and that of the Elsewhere Collection in a reflective and far reaching way. It explores how a collection inspired by liminal space, the moment of passing from one state to another, and named in pieces like Liminal and Portal, was woven in a building designed to remove the physical thresholds that had kept many weavers with disabilities from the loom.
